The Boys & Girls Clubs of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County is a unique organization with eight sites throughout the city and county. Their mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. As the needs of our children and their families continue to change, so will the dynamics of our programs and services.

2008 Boys & Girls Club Bus
The Appleseeds Foundation is proud to provide the Boys & Girls Club with a $20,000 contribution to help purchase their first Bus. The bus will be used extensively for picking up and delivering children to and from their homes, located just outside the city limits -- beyond the coverage of the Harrisonburg city busses. This helps extend Boys & Girls Club benefits to many children who would be unable to participate. The bus was dedicated by Heather Denman and VA Senator Mark Obenshain* on September 21, 2008 Event Photos
